There is a team called the VACteam, and they regularly investigate claims of incorrectly applied bans. One of my theory is that maybe if you are non-cheater but a ton of players reported you this can trigger VAC, yeah mistakes can be but rarely. We do encourage original content, however. Unmarked posts will be removed and member subject to severe punishment.
